Tootsie has spent her whole life in the circus, but she doesn't know how she got there.
She was always the property of the circus. She always had to do what she was ordered to do.
And everyone ordered her: the circus master, the magician, the drunken old clowns, the animal cleaner, and of course the audience. The audience really liked the way the old clowns beat the silly little clown.
All around used Tootsie as they wanted and when they wanted.
But one night Tootsie stopped crying and started laughing.
That night began Tootsie's Freaky Carnival.
